So, what is Hypnobirthing?

Hypnobirthing provides gentle guidance to support and promote positive, mindful and empowering birth experiences. Kin Birth is here to educate on the natural process of birth, how relaxations and breathing exercises can be used to support the process and how we can prepare, nurture and practise for the birth we want. By replacing negative thoughts and associations with useful information, positive birth stories and the tools to navigate your birth—whatever route it takes—we train the mind to allow the body to lead.

Hypnobirthing uses the power of words and the process of undoing to remove any fears or tension around pregnancy and birth. Through demonstrating the powerful effect of language and relaxation techniques, we build a calm confidence, knowing your body is doing exactly what it was designed to do. We use gentle teaching and signposting of information to empower you, and your partner, to work towards understanding your ideal birth, how best to facilitate this and how to stay informed throughout.

A ‘perfect’ birth doesn’t exist—everyone’s idea of perfect differs anyway—however the benefits of KGHypnobirthing is undeniable in promoting a more empowered and positive birth experience, giving you and your baby the best possible start in the next stage in your journey.

I hope I can support you and your growing family to approach labour in calm confidence.
